Public Meeting – Everyone Welcome

The Future and Importance of Adult Education

Thursday 2nd July 6 – 8pm

David Hockney Building, Bradford College, BD7 1AY

Learning is a life long journey. We are fortunate in Bradford that we have a college that can deliver a range of courses at all levels to learners of all ages. That college and provision is under threat.

Next year academic year, 2015 – 2016, the government plans to cut the English adult further education budget by 24%. This will leave millions of the most vulnerable adults without access to any opportunity to improve their education or retrain and put thousands of Further Education jobs at risk. Staff and students at the college are calling upon the government not to implement these cuts and to instead invest properly in lifelong learning opportunities for all.
